The International AIDS Society’s call for ‘stepping up the pace’ will not be possible without the continued leadership and proactive involvement of gay men, other MSM, and transgender people. As trends in global funding and attention to key populations continue to shift, this year's pre-conference will focus on HIV program implementation. Topics to be addressed will include: implications of the Global Fund's New Funding Model; persistent challenges in accessing quality HIV services; training needs of health care providers; task shifting demands on MSM and transgender-led community-based organizations; and the relationships between community systems- health systems in meeting the needs of our communities. The MSMGF Pre-Conference is the largest global gathering of activists, researchers, implementers, and donors focused on the health and human rights of MSM. In partnership with VICAIDS, ACON, AFAO and Living Positive Victoria among other local hosts, attendance is free of charge.

The organizers reserve the right to amend the programme.
